Questions people ask
- MPG or L/100km?
- They are reciprocals: 235.215 divided by one gives the other. MPG rises as efficiency improves, L/100km falls. This page defaults to metric, which is what pumps in Japan use.
- What is fuel costing in Japan?
- The default here is ￥175 per litre, a reasonable recent figure for Japan. Pump prices move weekly, so put in what you actually paid.
- Should I use the sticker efficiency?
- Real-world consumption usually runs 10–20% worse than the official figure, more so in cold weather or city traffic.
